I cannot for the life of me figure out why when a couple breaks up, one or both of them will want to get back together. This is specifically bothering me because of what happened during 1st period. Katie and Autumn I'm sure you know exactly who I'm talking about.

I ended up sitting next to my ex because I got in late, not mention being too lazy to find another spot with being sick and all. I finished my project and had nothing to do. He found me a game to play online that the school had filtered or blocked. During that entire period at least half the time his attention was on me. He would make comments about the game and how I was doing along with a touch here and there. Sort of a half hug at one point and putting his head on my arm for about a second. Of course I'm sick enough that I've got the whole foggy mind and really didn't see any of it coming. Near the end of the period I quite the game and stood up, facing my back to him and staring off into nothing. Out of no where his arms are around me and pulling me toward him. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was giving me a hug like he had no other intention than to give a friendly hug to his ex girlfriend from behind who he hasn't hugged since they broke up (6 months ago, mind you). Yeah. Right. I mean really, what's his deal? The fact that he did that when I was sick really makes me wonder what he's up to. What could he possibly want? I thought I made it clear I wouldn't go back to him but still being friends. Now what is the sudden touching and hugging from behind that he is trying to make out to be innocent? I don't believe it is innocent and he even did it when I was unaware enough to not realize this.

I just don't know what to do about this. Should I talk to him about it? Or wait and see if it happens again then confront him? Or maybe I'm wrong and his intentions are innocent? Maybe I should start there, ask him why the sudden change. Probably. I just might do that...
